Persian Star has a pleasant flavor with a mild spicy zing; it averages 8-12 cloves per bulb. It is a beautiful garlic with thick white bulb wrappers streaked with purple. When used for planting, Persian Star produces reliable yields year after year. Persian Star originated in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Garlic seed and eating garlic in stock.
Price is per pound
- Garlic for eating is $10/pound. Each pound contains 12-15 garlic bulbs 1 inch to 1¾ inches in diameter.
- Large garlic seed 2 inches and over is $15/pound. Each pound contains 6-9 garlic bulbs.
- Medium garlic seed 1¾ inches – 2 inches in diameter is $13/pound. Each pound contains 9-12 bulbs.
April 2019 – We are not able to take pre-orders for large Persian Star Garlic seed. Quantities will be updated after harvest in July.
